Laundromat Literacy-Strengthening Minds While Cleaning Clothes

Chapter members donate books − from young child to adult level − to be placed in boxes and left at local Laundromats. The hope is that people who are doing their laundry will pick up a book and read at the Laundromat and take the book home to share with other family members and friends. 

Currently, these are the laundromats we are servicing:

• Cardiff on San Elijo near Liverpool.
• Encinitas on Encinitas Blvd., just west of I-5 in the Petco Shopping Center.
  
• Encinitas on Encinitas Blvd., near El Camino Real in the Henry's Shopping Center.
  
• Carlsbad on Tamarack, just east of I-5 in the Vons Shopping Center.
