Our member and sister, Bee Bengel, passed away in October just short of her 105th birthday. She was born and raised in Kentucky and kept her sweet southern drawl. Bee was a lady through and through and her hugs were the best!
Bee joined Delta Kappa Gamma in 1956 and transferred to Beta Delta in 1980. She served as president from 1986 to 1988. She was a longtime educator and artist. Besides DKG, Bee was a member of several other organizations and recognized in Who's Who of American Women. Bee's legacy lives on in our remembrances of her.
